Who can become an Ambassador?

Anyone who is passionate about inspiring the next generation of builders and is willing to commit to the responsibilities listed above.

What are the expectations of an Ambassador?

The role of She Built Ambassadors is to spread awareness about She Built Foundation and build excitement around our mission in your communities. You’ll do this through hosting at least one community event and one fundraiser event annually. You’ll also be expected to attend a virtual annual meeting and contribute the suggested donation of $50.

What is the She Built Foundation’s role in the building industry?

We’re future-proofing the building and construction industry by introducing women to stable careers and creating a talent pipeline to address the severe labor shortage. With women holding only 11% of jobs, the She Built Foundation focuses on reaching girls early, sparking their curiosity and excitement to strengthen the industry long-term.

How do I host an event or fundraiser?

After you attend the Welcome + Training Zoom, we’ll send you a toolkit with resources and tips on hosting events, fundraising, and spreading awareness of our mission. You’ll also get access to activity kits with instructions and scripts to make sure your events are fun, impactful, and run smoothly.

Who should come to my event?

Anyone is welcome to fundraising events! The toolkit you will receive will have everything you need to make sure your community event and fundraising event are a success.
